Guests in Attendance

Students may invite up to six guests. We will provide students with six tickets to share with their guests. Guests will need to have their tickets in hand to enter into the activity center. Air Horns, noise makers and balloons will not be permitted inside the GMC Activity Center.

Directions:

From I-20: Take exit 114 Madison. Take Hwy 441 South to Milledgeville. Turn left on Montgomery Street and then right on Wayne Street. Turn left on Caraker Avenue and take an immediate right on Swint Avenue. Turn right on Linden Court and turn left on Jones Drive.

From Macon: Take Route 49 into Milledgeville, where it turns into Hancock Street. Turn right on South Wayne Street. Turn left on Caraker Avenue and take an immediate right on Swint Avenue.  Take right on Linden Court and then take left on Jones Drive.

From East: Follow Route 16 West into Sparta, joining Route 22 West in Sparta. Follow 22 West until it turns into Hancock Street in Milledgeville. Follow through the center of town, turn left on South Wayne Street. Turn left on Caraker Avenue and take an immediate right on Swint Avenue.  Take right on Linden Court and then take left on Jones Drive.

Augusta Satellite

Guests in Attendance

We will provide students with four tickets to share with their guests. Guests will need to have their tickets in hand to enter into the sanctuary. No food, drink, noisemakers, air horns, flowers, or balloons of any kind are allowed inside the building.

Application for Degree

To participate in the ceremony students who have, or are finishing the last term of their degree program must complete the GMC Application for Degree found at https://www.gmc.edu/application-for-degree/

 

 

Regalia Ordering

Photographs

Whitfield Photography will be at the Augusta Satellite taking cap & gown photos for interested students on Tuesday, March 25 and Wednesday, March 26 from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM and Thursday, March 27 from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Caps & gowns will be available for use in the photos and payment will be due at the time photos are taken. Additional details regarding available photo packages will be emailed closer to the date.

A 2025 class photo will be taken at 9:15 AM on the morning of the ceremony, graduates should arrive by 9:00 AM to be included in this photo. The photographer will also be on-site during the commencement ceremony taking group and individual photos. We will advise students how to access these photos for purchase after the ceremony.

The Warner Robins Campus Bookstore will have a booth in the lobby for graduates and guests to purchase Alumni and other merchandise.

Your Diploma:

You will not receive your diploma at graduation. Your diploma will arrive at your address of record in approximately 4-6 weeks after completing all degree requirements. Please ensure that your address is correct in our database before graduating. If you already have your diploma, please leave it at home.

Global Online Leadership College

Select the Global Online Leadership campus and follow the prompts.  Students will enter the location, height, weight, and payment information. The regalia includes a black cap and gown, tassel, and red stole.  If you have a black cap and gown from a previous event, you can order the tassel and red stole only.  If you are an honor graduate, you will receive a gold cord at graduation.  All orders need to be received by April 20th.  If you need assistance with your order, please contact GMC’s Main Campus Bookstore at 478-387-4909.

If you are coming from Forrest Street, you will turn right off Park Ave. to enter through the back entrance of Valdosta High. If you are coming from Inner Perimeter onto Park Avenue, you will turn

left to enter through the back entrance of Valdosta High. Once you have entered through the back entrance to Valdosta High, you will take the first left before tennis courts and park in the parking

lot behind Valdosta High School. Look for sign to direct you for parking and balloons for the check-in entrance!  ONLY graduates will be allowed to enter through this entrance.

Guest of Graduates:

If you are coming from Forrest Street, you will take a right at the red light onto Inner Perimeter Road. If you are coming from Lakeland Hwy, you will take a left onto Inner Perimeter Road. Once you reach Valdosta High School on the right, turn into the main drive and park in the main parking lot near the gym.

You will enter at the ticket booths.
