Georgia Military College holds Grand Opening for Academic Center of Excellence Facility

Georgia Military College (GMC) is thrilled to announce the grand opening and ribbon cutting of its new 9,800 square foot state-of-the-art facility, the Academic Center of Excellence (ACE). This facility will serve as the hub for all GMC Academic Affairs, fostering collaboration and enhancing the overall learning experience for students.

The ACE building, a state funded project, is an integral part of GMC’s commitment to academic excellence and student success. It boasts modern amenities and innovative design to provide a favorable environment for both faculty and students. The facility includes dedicated collaborative workspaces, a sound-proof technology room for filming and producing training videos, training rooms, and so much more all aimed at enriching the educational journey of GMC students.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was presided over by esteemed guest speaker Senator Rick Williams, who is a strong supporter of education and was recently appointed as an advisory member of the GMC Board of Trustees.
