Joelle Trumbo joined the President’s Office as the Executive Assistant to the President in October 2014. In addition to supporting the daily operations of the President’s Office, her work focuses primarily on managing the President’s schedule, assisting with the oversight of the President’s Office budget, and coordinating meetings, special events and activities. She serves on the GMC Athletics Oversight Committee, GMC Safety Committee, and is a member of the Title IX Equity Grievance Panel. She has also been a member of the National Association of Presidential Assistants in Higher Education (NAPAHE) since 2018.
Immediately prior to joining the President’s Office, Ms. Trumbo was a teacher for Georgia’s state funded Pre-Kindergarten program for three years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Georgia in 2009 and her master’s degree in education with a specialization in higher education administration from Louisiana State University in 2019.
