Jeannie Zipperer is the Director of Staff/Dean of Students for Georgia Military College.  In her capacity as Director of Staff, Jeannie Zipperer is a chief administrator responsible for staff assignments of long and short range policy development, researching and analyzing major issues and proposed programs, and coordination of Executive activities surrounding the College’s budget and scheduling.

Jeannie Zipperer began her career at GMC in 2006 as a tutor when she discovered a passion for education.  In 2007 she became a professor of political science and paralegal studies.   She has served as a PHI Theta Kappa Advisor, Social Science Department Chair, Criminal Justice Division Chair, Program Coordinator for Political Science and Paralegal Studies, Quality Enhancement Plan Committee Chair, and SACSCOC Accreditation Liaison.  In March of 2015, Jeannie Zipperer took on the role of Director of Staff for the institution.

She has a Master of Arts in Political Science from Virginia Tech and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from West Virginia College of Law.  Before coming to Georgia, she served as a staff attorney for West Virginia Legal Aid.
