Public Safety Leadership Program
THE FUTURE LEADERS IN PUBLIC SAFETY ARE MADE HERE.
The goal of the Public Safety Leadership Program is to create the next generation of leaders in public safety. At GMC, we support law enforcement, and to that end, we have designed a training program to take a young man or woman, provide them two years of leadership training, ensure that they receive excellent preparation to become a mandated officer, educate them with their college degree, and give them the tools necessary to be the most successful Peace Officer in Georgia. Public Safety Cadets will spend their time training in-depth on career-relevant topics to help them excel at Basic Mandate, and in their future career, from certified law enforcement professionals. In addition to earning their Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice, these Cadets will receive extensive training in leadership, character, values, fitness, investigations, emergency vehicle operation, firearms, defensive tactics, and officer resiliency.
Georgia Military College has been creating leaders for over 140 years. Now, we are putting our heritage and know-how to create leaders in public safety.
