GMC- Augusta awards six students with First Term Scholarships

Six students at Georgia Military College’s Augusta campus are the recipients of the First Term Scholarships for the Fall I quarter. Each recipient will receive $500. To be eligible for the scholarship a student must be in their first term with GMC, not be a GMC Dual Enrollment student or transient, must complete the scholarship application, and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and GSF Application.

The First Term Scholarship recipients to receive $500 each are:

1) Angela Judd
2) Antonio Gracy
3) Madison Phillips
4) Heather Powell
5) Eric Crislip
6) James Kent

Eric Crislip says winning the scholarship has been a source of positive reinforcement for his first term with GMC- Augusta. Angela Judd says receiving the scholarship has reinforced her confidence in her decision to attend school as well as her “ability to achieve her goals through hard work and dedication.”
