In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, we know many students are facing tough challenges. Georgia Military College is here for you, and we are doing everything we can to ensure no one is left behind. Prep wins GHSA Literary State Championship – second year straight

The GMC Prep School Literary Team competed in the GHSA Literary State Championship at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia on March 12th. After a long day of competition the team won the State Championship Title for a second year in a row. 

In addition to the Team Championship our students brought home two individual event state titles.

Audrey Harris won the state championship for her Rhetorical Essay and Wyatt Spivey, Max Hopkins, Nick Weldon, and jim Rowell won for Boys Quartet.  Our other team members competed well and each event added points to the team total.

• Nick Weldon – 3rd Place in Dramatic Interpretation
• Annaleah Phillips, Hannah Rice and Lyssa Blair – 3rd Place in Girls Trio
