Prep Raider Team earns Regional Championship

On Saturday, October 10, the GMC Prep Raiders competed at the Regional Meet at Spalding High School and brought home the Regional Championship! 

GMC Prep’s female team finished first in the region as the top overall female team, placing first in the tire flip, first on the obstacle course, second in ammo can relay, and third in rope bridge and ammo can relay.  

The mixed team also finished first in the region by placing first in three events:  cross-country rescue, ammo can relay and tire flip; and second in the obstacle course and rope bridge.

GMC Prep’s male team finished third overall and 2nd in the region, by earning second in the cross-country rescue and rope bridge, third in the tire flip, and fourth in the ammo can relay and obstacle course. 

All three teams will compete at the state meet on October 31st at Spalding High School in Griffin, Ga.
