Bulldogs Ranked 4th

GMC BULLDOGS RANKED #4 TO START 2006 SEASON

The 2006 NJCAA rankings came out with the Georgia Military College Bulldogs placed at #4 in the country to start out the season. The Bulldog schedule does not get any easier with four opponents joining them in the poll. The Bulldogs take on #2 Trinity Valley College, #21 Navarro College, and #11 Nassau Community College on the road while having #22 Erie Community College come to Davenport Field. GMC Head Coach Bert Williams commented, “It really does not matter so much where you start, but where you finish. Starting off on the road in Texas against Navarro and Trinity Valley is a tough start, but if we can get the job done we will be in good shape.”

Five Bulldogs were named to the NJCAA Pre-Season All-American teams. Macon native, Boston McCornell, was named as a 1st Team at the linebacker position and DL Jarious Wynn, WR Kemuel Spivey, OL Dion Small, and FS Daniel Wilcox were named as Honorable Mention selections.
