Student Visitation Day to be Held October 16

Prospective students and their families are cordially invited to attend Student Visitation Day at Georgia Military College’s Milledgeville Campus on October 16, 2004. Our structured visitation program provides a first-hand look at GMC, while allowing an opportunity to interact with faculty, staff and students. Check-in for Student Visitation will be held from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM, in the Old Capitol Building (first floor rotunda). A special presentation by the GMC Drill and Ranger Teams will begin the day’s activities at 9:30 AM.

Activities during the Student Visitation Day will provide an opportunity to:

Tour of the historic GMC Milledgeville Campus – the site of Georgia’s Antebellum Capitol.

Explore extracurricular and academic programs.

Obtain information about admissions, financial aid, student life, and Army ROTC.

Learn what’s involved in submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Georgia Military College will offer the Institutional ACT on October 15, 2004, for students who have not yet had the opportunity to take the ACT or for those wishing to improve their performance from a previous administration of the ACT. This special testing session will begin promptly at 1:00 PM in the Office of Admissions. The cost of the test is $26. The ACT will be scored following completion of the test and the scores will be shared with you before the conclusion of the Student Visitation Day program.
