GMC Accepts Bowl Bid

The Georgia Military College JC Bulldogs have been invited and have accepted a bid to play in the 2012 C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart of Texas Bowl in Copperas Cove, TX on December 1, 2012 at 11am CST. GMC will face Texas champion #5 Navarro College in the bowl game. Navarro will be the fourth top five ranked team the Bulldogs have faced this season. “I was very pleased to be extended the invitation and excited for our players. We had an unbelievably difficult schedule this season and it is rewarding to see that the bowl committees value teams that challenge themselves by playing top level teams. The strong win against Lackawana Sunday and the strength of schedule made the difference in our getting the invitation,” commented GMC Head Coach Bert Williams.
