Prep Honors Seniors Participating in Spring Sports

Georgia Military College Prep School honored seniors, who participated in this year’s spring activities, during a special ceremony held on May 17, 2010. The students were escorted by family and friends as they walked across the floor of the Cordell Events Center and were congratulated by COL John Thornton, GMC Principal. Senior members of the tennis team: Joel Bentley, escorted by Macy Sikes, plans to attend the University of Georgia. Jessica Collin, escorted by Lauryn Dennard, will attend Georgia College & State University and major in early childhood education. Macy Knowles, escorted by Will Parker, plans to attend Augusta State University and major in biology. Nathan Seagraves was escorted by his parents, Scott and Karen Seagraves. He will attend Georgia Military College in the fall and major in general studies. Caroline Smith, escorted by Brandon Hogg, plans to attend Georgia College & State University to major in pre-physical therapy. Kalli Trepanier, escorted by Kelly Smith, plans to attend Valdosta State in the fall to major in nursing. John Austin Vance was escorted by his parents, Ken and Carol Vance. He will attend the University of Georgia and major in biology. Adam Veatch was escorted by his mother, Susan Veatch. He will attend Georgia Military College in the fall with plans to major in sports medicine. Dustin Wallace, escorted by Katie Resseque, will attend Georgia Military College and major in Business. Recognized for her participation in Track, Elizabeth Craig was escorted by Landon Castillo. She plans to attend the University of Georgia in the fall to major in pre-med/biology. Elizabeth was presented with a hurdle, signed by all members of the GMC Track Team. Senior members of the Soccer Team: J.D. Felt, escorted by Christin Cox and Jenny Brown, plans to attend the University of Georgia and major in pre-med. Scott Johnson, escorted by Taylor Johnson, plans to attend Middle Georgia College with a scholarship to play soccer, where he will major in physical therapy. Alex Levendis was escorted by Chris Brown. She plans to attend the University of Georgia to major in animal health/pre-veterinary. Lindee Lord was escorted by her grandfather, Charlie Massey. She plans to attend Georgia Southern University where she will major in nursing. Colby Pennington was escorted by his mother, Hope Pennington. He will attend Georgia Military College in the fall and plans to eventually work in the medical field. Drew Sanders was escorted by his parents, David and Lynne Sanders. He plans to attend Georgia Southern University and major in biology. Justin Williams was escorted by his mother, Teresa Williams. He will attend Georgia Military College in the fall. Christian Zajicek, escorted by Sean Tighe, will attend Savannah College of Art & Design and major in photography. Senior members of the Color Guard: Porsche Freeman was escorted by Petrenna D. Barnes. She will attend Georgia Military College in the fall and plans to transfer to the Medical College of Georgia the following year to major in pre-medicine. Jessica Jenkins, escorted by Josten Grimes, plans to attend Georgia College & State University and major in pre-law. Destiny V. Smith was escorted by her mother, Vanessa L. Smith. She plans to attend Georgia Military College in the fall and transfer to Georgia State University where she will major in biology. Kayla J.
