Rachel Merica – HONESTY

Georgia Military College Prep School recognizes Rachel Merica for earning the
Character of the Week Award in demonstrating the virtue of Honesty.

I would like to nominate Ms. Rachel Merica as COW for her display of HONESTY. Yesterday while eating lunch at The Brick, I observed Rachel counting her change from lunch and realizing that the manager, Jimmy Holder, had given her change for a $20 when in fact she had paid with a $10. She commented to him that she had been given the wrong amount and handed him back the change. He laughed at his mistake and told all of us there that maybe he needs to go back to high school math. She showed outstanding judgment by doing the right thing and returning the money that was not hers. Great job Rachel, I am proud of you.
