Lily Edmonson – DUTY

Georgia Military College Prep School recognizes Lily Edmonson for earning the
Character of the Week Award in demonstrating the virtue of Duty.

We would like to nominate Lily Edmondson for Character of the Week for displaying Duty. At our first middle school track meet, Lily stepped in to run the second leg of the 4X100 relay after another member of the team was suddenly unable to run the event. Lily had never even practiced the event or showed interest in running the sprint, but in a time of need she was there for her team and stepped in the position. We were all extremely grateful to Lily, because the relay team would not have been able to run the event without her feeling of duty to the team.
