In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, we know many students are facing tough challenges. Georgia Military College is here for you, and we are doing everything we can to ensure no one is left behind. We have plans to provide extensions and support for those affected with the goal of completing the term. Your safety and well-being are our top priorities, and we’ll be flexible and supportive as we move forward. As Quarter 1 ends, we remain committed to your success, so please check here regularly for updates as we monitor recovery efforts. For those who cannot make it to campus, GMC will make every effort to work with you individually. Additionally, we are closely monitoring the development and potential impact of Hurricane Milton. At this time, the storm’s path is being tracked carefully, and there is no immediate cause for alarm in our area. However, we want to ensure that you are prepared and informed in case the situation changes. Your safety is our top priority, and we will communicate any necessary actions promptly on our website, through email, text, and social media as necessary. Learn More

Dining Services

2024 Schedule

Milledgeville Dining

The Georgia Military College Dining Facility, located in Boylan Hall, is always operational during the academic term. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are offered during the week, with brunch and dinner being offered on the weekends/holidays. Meal hours are adjusted during breaks and school closures. Meals normally include a choice of entrees with a selection of vegetables. A variety of short order items are also available during lunch and dinner as well as a salad bar and a deli bar. Fresh soups and desserts are available every day.

Beginning in the Fall semester of 2021, meal plans will be accepted in the new “Top Dog Diner”, the old college cafeteria located on the ground floor of Miller/Boylan Hall.  All meal plans can be used for any meal(s) during the week. There are a variety of weekly and block meal plans available to meet the needs of all students. Only one cadet meal plan is available and is included in the quarterly program fees.  Junior College commuter students sign up online, as detailed in the attached PDF (JC Commuter Meal Plans flyer).   Faculty and Staff can also sign up online, as detailed in the attached PDF (Faculty and Staff Meal Plan).

Food items can still be purchased a la carte in the new “Growl Grab and Go”, the newly renovated canteen.   Additionally, anyone with a GMC identification card can use that card as a prepaid credit card for the daily door rate at the “Top Dog Diner” or for food items at the “Growl Grab and Go”.  Credit can be loaded to the card at the cash register at either food venue.

Portion control is exercised, but all meal plans include all you can eat one time through the serving line, so take as much as you want.

Other services offered by the Dining Facility staff include banquets, buffets, luncheons and other catering.
